Paul Burton

MINING CONSULTANT

Paul is the Hinde Gold Fund Mining Consultant. After initially working as a mining engineer, he spent much of his career in mineral economics and marketing, most notably at Gold Fields in South Africa.
Paul graduated from the Camborne School of Mines in 1975 with an Associateship in Mining Engineering. He subsequently gained an MSc in Mineral Economics and an MBA from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa.
Paul is the Chairman of the FTSE Gold Mines Index Committee which he has served on for 15 years. He is a well known speaker on the international conference circuit on both the industry and investment sides.
